Lots of dogs within Patriot's sight mean she stays alert and slightly agitated. Birds and dogs don't mix. Of course, she reacts the same way to anything with wheels too. Strollers are the devil.

For weeks I've been trying to get a portrait of a Red-tailed Hawk, today my patience paid off. I found this one along the edge of the highway in a small swamp in Phillipston, MA. This was taken from about 75 feet away handheld. © 2014 David Wornham Photography
