Northern Mockingbird

Northern Mockingbird

I love listening to the call of the Northern Mockingbird. I listened to this one sing for about 10 minutes from high up in a pine, what an incredible range of calls and notes they have. Thankfully he left his perch and spent a few minutes close enough to get a few posed shots. © 2014 David Wornham Photography

Waiting for Death

Waiting for Death

A vulture waits patiently for a kill in the Mara. A picture taken on my visit to Kenya last year, just after I'd picked up a DSLR for the first time. I can't wait for my next opportunity to visit Africa! Happy Halloween!
