Taken at a little owl sanctuary place near Mt. Fuji. Very cool place, but very hard to shoot in. It was very cramped, and crowded, and DARK. Plus they don't allow use of flashes. Had to push my ISO and my lenses to their max in there.

Dance!
A barred owl juvenile struts its funky stuff! These guys are so much fun and so curious about their new world, they can make a simple stretch that lasts 2 seconds look like the hottest dance of the year!

Moody Owl Profile
This was my favourite photo from the Sparsholt Countryside Day, The display by Falconhigh was a real treat, and the Owls were particularly impressive, but the moody sky really lent itself to a black and white photo (in truth, it was a lovely sunny day, but the clouds just happened to look moody for a brief moment!).
